Honey, They Said Yes: Meta’s Chatty AI vs. the Real Starlets It Leaves Behind

WIRED reports that Meta says users of its adults-only Muse app may have grown-up conversations with the AI, while adult creators question why their own social accounts so often get restricted. Creator Vanniall, whose Instagram has 100,000+ followers and is currently restricted, told WIRED it isn’t fair that an AI gets latitude real adults don’t. Jiz Lee and Tony Genius voiced similar frustrations. Meta’s spokesperson answered that a private one-to-one chat in an 18+ app is “very different” from promoting services on a social network. A velvet-rope debate, and it’s only getting started.

Willow Ryder: Our First Honey Dip Girl of the Month

A starlet with a gleam in her eye and a trophy-season glow.

Every great picture needs a leading lady, and this month ours is Willow Ryder. She earned two nominations at the 2026 AVN Awards, announced by AVN in December 2025. (Nominations only: the trophies on the night went to others, but being on that list is its own kind of spotlight.)

According to her official website, Ricky’s Room announced in March 2025 that it had signed its very first female contract star, with Ricky Johnson bestowing the honor on Willow in a non-exclusive, multi-scene, one-year deal. Her site also lists a Stripped by Sia podcast episode with fellow starlet Ameena Green. On her site she describes herself as your “internet girlfriend” and invites fans to “come indulge in my fantasies” (her words, her wink).

Honey Dip Awards: nominations for Girl of the Month are open, with the final poll Mon. Oct. 26 and the crown awarded Sun. Nov. 1 on @honeydipnews. Free to vote, never for sale.

Your take, honey: what makes a starlet unforgettable?

Releases roundup: New Drop Friday

New Drop Friday: Ink Motel Room 7.77, Velvet Glisten and Two Fresh Debuts

Ink Motel: Room 7.77 (AltErotic), coming soon: Lil Moore plays investigative reporter Maxine Graves in a gritty, vintage-style psychological horror short directed by Ivan. Lil Moore shared the official poster on her social accounts, and Ivan has described the project as a push toward acting and dialogue with mainstream crossover appeal.

Velvet Glisten (AltErotic): an ensemble title with Ava Holt, Viviana Rose, Bobbi Rose and Sapphire Ink. Retail catalog listings date it to Aug. 28, 2026, so it is a recent release rather than brand new. We could not confirm a trade announcement, so we keep the details modest.

Ravyn Alexa makes her Reality Kings debut opposite Lucas Frost in “Inked and Oiled,” a tattoo-shop-themed outing now streaming on RealityKings.

Sage Pillar makes her debut for Vixen Media Group imprint WIFEY, appearing alongside her husband Pierre and Chocolate Rod.

Your take: glossy glamour or vintage horror, which one first?

Money Matters: California’s New Upload Paperwork Starts Jan. 1

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 1705 on Sept. 30, 2026, and it takes effect Jan. 1, 2027. Before posting adult content, uploaders must give the site an email address and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that everyone shown was an adult when it was made and consented to being shown and to the upload. Sites must verify uploader emails and keep the paperwork for at least seven years. Attorney Lawrence Walters told AVN he expects the law to be tested in court. Not legal advice; ask your attorney.
