Willow Ryder: Running from Tennessee to Miami

From a 2022 newcomer to a million-plus followers, a boardroom of nominations, and a stand for performer safety.

Darlings, pour the bubbly and mind the pearls. The Bishop has been reading the record on Willow Ryder, and the record reads like a climb: a debut in 2022, a studio contract in 2025, nominations at the biggest shows in the business, and a very public “Do better” in 2026. (She is a grown woman, well over eighteen. This column toasts only grown-ups, and it keeps the curtain drawn on the explicit.)

Willow by the Numbers

About 1.1 million followers on X: 1,096,589 on her public profile as of October 18, 2026 (X).
27 years old, per the New York Post (Aug. 6, 2026). IAFD gives a 1999 birth year and a Tennessee birthplace.
5 ft 4 in (163 cm), per IAFD and IMDb.

Before the Industry

Every leading lady has a “before.” Willow’s, in her own telling, was skin care. In an interview on MyFavoritePornStar, she described working as a licensed esthetician before the industry, and said that someone who knew people in the business connected her with AMA Modeling, the agency that appears on her official website. (The Bishop read this account in an earlier research pass; the site is currently blocked to our fetcher, so we flag it for re-confirmation below the fold.)

Beyond that, a press bio on her website says she was born in Tennessee in 1999 and grew up in the Nashville area. Press releases from December 2024 and January 2025 also describe her as bubbly and fond of working out, dancing, and animals, with a dog of her own. Those are press-release self-descriptions, darlings, so we pass them along as such. The Bishop will not guess at motives, money, or what led her to the door. Those chapters belong to Willow.

The Entrance, 2022

On August 12, 2022, XBIZ welcomed “newcomer Willow Ryder” to the Tushy lineup with a scene called Nerves, opposite Mick Blue, then the reigning XBIZ Male Performer of the Year. Of her early run she told the outlet: “I have been lucky to star with some awesome people while shooting for some great studios since I’ve been in porn â€” and working with Tushy is a dream come true.” The same item notes that AMA Modeling represented her.

IAFD’s 2022 listings show a busy first year across mainstream paysite names, including Reality Kings, TeamSkeet, Brazzers, and Bang Bros. (IAFD is a fan-maintained database, so the Bishop treats it as a guide, not gospel.)

Studios and Headlines, 2024 to 2025

By 2024 she was getting top billing. XBIZ reported in April 2024 that she and Angelina Diamanti topline Lesbian Neighbor Affairs from Girlfriends Films. In August through September 2024 came a run of Ricky’s Room releases, and on January 30, 2025, XBIZ reported she “headlines” HardX’s Hardcore Bombshells 3, an XEmpire studio brand release. Its XBIZ profile also lists releases from Erotica X, New Sensations, TeamSkeet and Vixen Plus across late 2024 and 2025.

The Ricky’s Room partnership is the thread to watch. Studio chief Ricky Johnson built a series around her, Willow’s Room, and a press release reproduced by Adult The Culture says the two have “incredible chemistry.” When one star gets her own series, honey, that is a love letter in call-sheet form.

Breakthrough: A Season of Nominations

Here is where the climb gets loud. At the 2024 AVN Awards, IAFD lists her as a nominee for Best New Starlet. A year later, she arrived at the 2025 AVN Awards with six nominations, including the much-sought Female Performer of the Year, plus Best Star Showcase for Willow’s Room and four scene categories, per Adult The Culture. The same release notes that Ricky’s Room as a whole had ten nominations across nine categories.

Over at the XMAs, EmmReport counted five nominations for her that season, again including Female Performer of the Year. XBIZ’s published nominee list shows her name in that category and in the Best Performer Showcase field.

On May 29, 2025, XBIZ reported that Ricky’s Room signed her to a non-exclusive, multi-scene, one-year contract, the studio’s first female contract star. “I’m so excited to be a part of Ricky’s Room family,” Willow said in the XBIZ report. “It’s such an honor, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we make.”

(A tidy note for the fact-checkers: some listings on her own site carry different dates around that announcement. This column uses the XBIZ date.)

In January 2025, EmmReport also published a 70-minute interview with her, and its host described her, in the outlet’s own words, as “authentic, humble.” In March 2025, XBIZ reported she and Ameena Green were guests on the Stripped by Sia podcast, discussing, per a rep quoted by XBIZ, “their personal journeys in the adult industry” along with financial discipline and professional boundaries. Host Steph Sia called it “amazing to have two mega-stars in my studio at the same time.” The Bishop has read the write-ups, not the transcripts, so no quotes from inside the episode appear here.

Two More Nods for 2026

For the 2026 AVN Awards, AVN announced on December 12, 2025 that she was nominated in two categories: Best Anal Sex Scene (Willow Gets an Anal Ride – Hardcore Bombshells 3) and Best Foursome/Orgy Scene (An Unwrapped Holiday Orgy from Ricky’s Room). The January 24, 2026 ceremony at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas named other winners in both. No trophy this round, darling, but nominated in consecutive years and then some. IAFD also lists XRCO and Urban X Awards nominations for her.

The Brand, the Business and the Collabs

Willow’s brand is the part she runs herself. Her website bills her as an “internet girlfriend,” lists her agency as AMA Modeling, and links her ManyVids and OnlyFans pages. On June 5, 2026, XBIZ reported she signed with OC Modeling for representation. OC Modeling owner Sandra McCarthy said in the release: “She has an incredible presence both on and off camera, and her connection with fans is undeniable.”

Her X feed, observed by the Bishop’s team in October 2026, shows a working creator: clip promotions, scheduled live shows, and collaborations, including a live show with fellow performer @Only_kira_perez and a release credit shared with Adriana Maya. Her most recent catalog credit, per Release Index, is The Spin Cycle Special from Brazzers Exxtra, dated October 10, 2026. She and Ameena Green share a long, visible run of collaborations, from Ricky’s Room scenes to the podcast. The Bishop could not find a merchandise line or a named personal brand beyond her own name, and will not invent one.

Miami, May 2026: “Do Better”

Willow lives in Miami, according to the New York Post, and that is where her loudest moment of 2026 happened. WIRED reported (May 29, 2026) that she was at a May 14 party for performers sponsored by the Pillow Talk podcast when livestreamer Clavicular arrived and, in WIRED’s account, berated women present. Willow told WIRED she approached the podcast’s host, Ryan Pownall, to say sex workers were being made uncomfortable. By her account: “He said I was bringing a bad vibe â€¦ and Clavicular was the most famous person in the room.”

On her way home, she posted on X, as quoted by WIRED: “I don’t care how famous a guest isâ€”allowing women to be disrespected, screamed at, and put in an unsafe environment for clout is lame. Do better.” WIRED reports the post drew more than 817,000 views and that other performers joined in. Pownall later apologized on Instagram, expressing remorse for women who felt “disrespected or unwelcome” because of “certain guests,” WIRED reports. He told WIRED that much of the online conversation focused on “damaging my business relationships rather than establishing the facts of what actually occurred.” WIRED attributes the claim of a fight and an alleged weapon at the party to Willow and a Porn Crush reporter; it reports that none of the attendees appeared to be hurt. Clavicular did not respond to WIRED’s requests for comment.

The Bishop’s takeaway is simple: a performer with a megaphone used it to ask for safer rooms for her colleagues, and the conversation about performer safety at industry events got louder for it. In the New York Post, she said of the incident that Clavicular “was definitely there just getting ‘rage bait’ content.” She is a performer who knows how to use attention, and who told WIRED: “I try to do things strategically.”

Darling, the Best Is Yet to Come

Nominations for the 2027 shows have not been announced as of this writing. The Bishop will be watching, glass in hand. Willow, the champagne is cold and the door is open: we would adore to tell the rest of your story in your own words.
