Halloween is getting a grand debut. Independent creators Robin Coffins and Sarina Havok of Amateur Productions are launching AltTransXXX.com on Saturday, Oct. 31, a new site dedicated to alternative trans performers and T4T lesbian content.
The pair say the mission is about visibility as much as content. According to their announcement, trans performers with tattoos, piercings, unconventional looks and big personalities often get overlooked because they don’t fit someone else’s idea of what’s marketable. AltTransXXX is meant to be a place where those performers are celebrated as they are. “This isn’t about changing who you are to fit into a box,” Coffins and Havok said. “It’s about having a place where you already belong.”
Coffins and Havok will produce, direct and shoot everything on the site themselves. The opening roster includes Bobbii Rose, Foxxy, Lana Vice, Madame Ouija, Nyxi Leon, Viviana Rose and Havok herself, with more collaborations on the way. Members can expect four or more new scenes a month, with downloads included and individual clips also sold on demand.
The site was built in collaboration with PAYSITE.com. To celebrate the “Grand Haunted Debut,” annual memberships will be $150 instead of the regular $200 from Oct. 31 through Nov. 6, and founding members keep that $150 rate on renewal as long as their membership stays active.
Is a site built around alternative trans performers the kind of representation the industry needs more of?
